Sneak Peek Universal's live-action Dark Horse Comics adaptation, "R.I.P.D." ('Rest In Peace Department'), starring Jeff Bridges and Ryan Reynolds:
The supernatural action thriller stars Oscar winner Bridges as dead cowboy 'Roy Powell' and Reynolds as dead cop 'Nick Cruz Walker'.
"It’s about two cops," said producer Neil Moritz about "R.I.P.D.", "one recently dead (Reynolds) and a gunslinger (Bridges) who’s been dead for hundreds of years, that work in the 'Rest in Peace' department - which is the police department of the dead. It takes place on a normal day and it’s about trying to keep the spirits quiet."
Cast also includes Kevin Bacon as 'Bobby Hayes', Mary-Louise Parker as 'Procter', Robert Knepper as 'Nawlicki', Stephanie Szostak as 'Julia Walker', James Hong as 'Grandpa Chen', Mike O'Malley as 'Elliot', Marisa Miller as 'Roy's avatar' and Devin Ratray as 'Pulaski'.
