Director Stuart Beattie's Australian-lensed comic book adaptation,"I, Frankenstein", starring Aaron Eckhart as the monster named 'Adam', will be released through Lionsgate, September 13, 2013 :
"'Frankenstein's monster' is an intelligent, evolved man," said Eckhart, "and that’s how he is portrayed in this movie..."
Cast also includes Socratis Otto, Yvonne Strahovski and Miranda Otto.
Based on the comic book by Kevin Grevioux, who also wrote the film's screenplay, "I, Frankenstein" follows the 'creature', created by 'Dr. Frankenstein', who centuries after his 'birth', finds himself in a modern-day city, caught up in a war between two immortal clans.
