Hopkins' "Hitchcock" Is Horrific

Sneak Peek more images from the bio-pic "Hitchcock", starring Anthony Hopkins as the legendary director 'Alfred Hitchcock'.

The Fox Searchlight thriller is directed by Sacha Gervasi, based on the 1990 novel "Alfred Hitchcock and The Making Of  'Psycho'" by author Stephen Rebello.

From Hitchcock's acquisition of the original novel by horror author Robert Bloch to his work with screenwriters, casting, filming, editing, scoring, and promotion the film goes into the day-to-day lives of characters who believed they were making a modestly budgeted, black-and-white shocker that represented a radical departure from the elegant, suspenseful films that made Hitchcock's reputation.

"...'Hitchcock' centers on the relationship between director 'Alfred Hitchcock' and his wife 'Alma Reville' during the making of 'Psycho'.

"Events span from a Wisconsin murderer who was the real-life inspiration for the character of 'Norman Bates', to the release of the groundbreaking film in 1960..."

Cast in the new film also includes Jessica Biel as actress 'Vera Miles'.
