"Arrow" - The Heat Is On For 'Firefly'

CW's Vancouver-lensed DC Comics' adaptation "Arrow", will introduce the costumed comic book villain ("The Human) 'Firefly' in the 10th episode, titled "Burned", written by Moira Kirland and Ben Sokolowski for director Eagle Egilsson.

"We're looking forward to bringing on other DC Comics characters and characters that people have never really seen before," said "Arrow" executive producer Andrew Kreisberg.

"That's what's been fun for us..."

The villain 'Garfield Lynns' aka 'Firefly', debuted in DC's "Detective Comics #184 (1952) as a former firefighter who sustained both physical and mental trauma in a blaze, before becoming a hated enemy of 'Batman'.
