"Justice League" Movie Assembles For 2015

According to the studio, Warner Bros. developing "Justice League" live-action feature film, adapting the DC Comics superhero team, in a screenplay by Will Beall ("Gangster Squad"),  will now be targeted for a 2015 release, the same year that Disney and Marvel Studios will release Joss Whedon's "The Avengers 2".

Also known as the 'JLA', the superhero team first appeared in DC Comics' "The Brave and the Bold" #28, February/March 1960, predating Marvel's "The Avengers", with the line-up of 'Superman', 'Batman', 'Wonder Woman', 'Flash' ('Barry Allen'), 'Green Lantern' ('Hal Jordan'), 'Aquaman' and the 'Martian Manhunter'.


The roster has been rotated throughout the years including 'Green Arrow', 'Captain Marvel', 'Black Canary', the 'Atom', 'Hawkman', 'Hawkgirl', 'Plastic Man', 'Red Tornado', 'Firestorm' and 'Zatanna'.
