To encourage blood donations, AMC's "The Walking Dead" TV series, has teamed with the American Red Cross with a "Give Blood Sweepstakes" turning celebrities for the cause into 'zombies'.
Grand Prize is a three-day, two-night trip to the "Walking Dead" set in Georgia during the filming of Season 4.
"Hobbit" director Peter Jackson, "Extra" correspondent Maria Menounos and actor Jimmy Smits are also involved with the blood drive, allowing "The Walking Dead" Co-Executive Producer and Special FX Makeup Designer Greg Nicotero to turn them into 'zombies' to support the Red Cross.
