Carnahan's "Daredevil" Movie 'Sizzle Reel'



Sneak Peek "Narc" director Joe Carnahan’s 'sizzle reel' clips as part of his pitch to direct a new film adaptation of Marvel Comics' "Daredevil", which may revert its screen rights to Marvel Studios, if Fox does not produce a new "Daredevil" feature by October 10, 2012.

 
Debuting April 1, 1964, Marvel Comics' "Daredevil" was created by writer-editor Stan Lee and illustrator Bill Everett ("Sub-Mariner") with input from Marvel 'Bullpen' artist Jack "King" Kirby. 


Other noted illustrators contributing to the series included Gene Colan, Wally Wood and Frank Miller. 


"...Living in the 'Hell's Kitchen' neighborhood of New York City, 'Matt Murdock' is blinded by a radioactive substance that falls from an oncoming vehicle. Yet while he no longer can see, the radioactive exposure heightens his remaining senses beyond normal human ability. His father, a boxer named 'Jack Murdock', supports him as he grows up, though he is later killed by gangsters after refusing to throw a fight. After donning a yellow/black, and later a dark red, costume, Matt seeks out revenge against his father's killers as the superhero Daredevil..."
