Sneak Peek actress Amy Adams delivering an earnest monologue in a new clip from "There Will Be Blood" director Paul Thomas Anderson's upcoming $35 million feature "The Master", also starring actor Philip Seymour Hoffman as a WW II veteran who forms a religious cult:
"A striking portrait of drifters and seekers in post World War II America, 'The Master' unfolds the journey of a Naval veteran (Joaquin Phoenix) who arrives home from war unsettled and uncertain of his future — until he is tantalized by 'The Cause' and its charismatic leader (Hoffman).
"But when the faith begins to gain a fervent following, the drifter finds himself questioning the belief system and his mentor."
Cast also includes Laura Dern, Jesse Plemons and David Warshovsky.
The new film will be released through The Weinstein Company, September 2012.
