Although the timing may seem awkward, Sneak Peek the new "Mad" Magazine Special Issue, "Mad Presents Batman", with a cover featuring Christian Bale as the 'Dark Knight' and Mad magazine mascot 'Alfred E. Neuman' as the villain 'Bane'.
The 80-page special features reprints of classic Batman material including 6 movie satires and 2 TV show spoofs. Also included is the classic 1950's Harvey Kurtzman/Wally Wood Mad comic book story, "Bat Boy and Rubin", published before Warners acquired the magazine.
