Marvel's "The Avengers" smashed its way into box-office history, earning $200.3 million for the biggest three-day domestic weekend ever. The comic book adaptation, from Disney and Marvel Entertainment also added another $151.5 million from 52 overseas territories this weekend for a foreign box-office total of $441.5 million.
Grand total for the film after only 12 days in release is $641.8 million.
