"The Special Edition' poster supports new stories expanding on the "Watchmen" universe, with seven inter-connected prequel mini-series built on the foundation of the original award-winning "Watchmen" graphic novel.
Also noted as the best-selling graphic novel of all time, "Watchmen" was adapted into the 2009, Vancouver-lensed motion picture directed by Zack Snyder.
"It’s our responsibility as publishers to find new ways to keep all of our characters relevant", said DC Entertainment Co-Publishers Dan DiDio and Jim Lee.
