Syfy Stares Into "The Eyes Of The Dragon"


Following the critical and ratings success of HBO's current TV adaptation of author George R. R. Martin's "A Game of Thrones", Syfy has now optioned author Stephen King's fantasy novel "The Eyes of the Dragon".



The bestseller is being developed by Syfy as a longform project, with Michael Taylor ("Battlestar Galactica") and Jeff Vintar ("I, Robot') adapting a script. Taylor and Bill Haber will executive produce :




"...within the realm of 'Delain', located within 'In-World' from 'The Dark Tower', the King's magician, 'Flagg', seeking to destroy the 'Kingdom of Delain', sees his evil plans being ruined by the good heart of 'Queen Sasha'. After Sasha gives birth to 'Peter', a noble and worthy future king, Flagg realizes that his position, his plans, and his life may be now be in danger..."
