Sneak Peek images of actors Benicio del Toro ("Fear And Loathing In Las Vegas") as the character 'Lado' and Blake Lively ("Green Lantern") as 'O', from director Oliver Stone's upcoming crime-drama "Savages", currently in post-production.
The feature is based on the novel "Savages" by author Don Winslow, who co-wrote the screenplay with Shane Salerno :
"...when their shared hippie girlfriend 'O' (Lively) is kidnapped, two marijuana growers — University of California, Berkeley graduate 'Ben' (Aaron Johnson) and former US Navy SEAL 'Chon' (Taylor Kitsch) , must confront a vicious Mexican drug cartel to rescue her..."
Cast also includes Uma Thurman, John Travolta, Salma Hayek, Diego Cataño, Emile Hirsch, Joel David Moore, Demián Bichir, Trevor Donovan, Ralph Echemendia, Sandra Echeverria, Gillian Zinser and Mía Maestro.
From Universal Pictures, "Savages", produced by Todd Arnow, Moritz Borman, Eric Copeloff and Salerno, will be released September 28, 2012.
