"X-Men: First Class": Xavier's School For Gifted Youngsters

Sneak Peek the new poster and international trailer for "X-Men: First Class", from Marvel Studios, Marv Films, The Donners' Company and Bad Hat Harry Productions :

"...'X-Men: First Class' charts the epic beginning of the 'X-Men' saga, and reveals a secret history of famous global events. Before mutants had revealed themselves to the world, and before 'Charles Xavier' and 'Erik Lehnsherr' took the names 'Professor X' and 'Magneto', they were two young men discovering their powers for the first time.

In the process, a grave rift between them opened, which began the eternal war between Magneto’s Brotherhood and Professor X's X-Men..."

Directed by Matthew Vaughn ("Kick-Ass"), based on characters appearing in Marvel Comics, the feature is the fifth installment of the "X-Men" film series and a prequel to the first three movies.

Cast includes James McAvoy as 'Professor X' and Michael Fassbender as 'Magneto', with Kevin Bacon, January Jones, Rose Byrne, Jennifer Lawrence and Lucas Till.

Fox envisions this film as the first in a new trilogy.

Distributed by 20th Century Fox, "X-Men: First Class" opens June 3, 2011.

His dedication to preserving order originally manifested in his previous career, as an anthropologist specializing in reconstructions of ruins of long-dead civilizations. His desire for order did well by him in the Corps and initially led him to be considered one of the greatest 'Green Lanterns'. As the years passed, he became more and more fixated upon not simply protecting his sector, but on preserving order in the society of his home planet no matter the cost. Eventually he concluded that the best way to accomplish this was to conquer Korugar and rule the planet as a dictator..."
