"POTNAH": The Life Of A Brooklyn Gangsta- January 24, 2012

Terry D. Films & Headliners Productions Presents "POTNAH", available on DVD, January 24, 2012.

Directed by Darrell Smith, the gritty, urban crime drama examines the life of a Brooklyn 'gangsta' through his own eyes, detailing the daily struggles of street life and the ongoing fight for survival, in a modern-day story of loyalty, betrayal and murder.

Written by Kyron Hodges who 'lived the life', "POTNAH" won the best screenplay award @ the 2010 Pocono Mountain Film Festival, subsequently providing the inspiration for actor Jamie Hector as 'Marlo Stansfield' in the season finale of HBO's "The Wire" :

"...when a cigarette kingpin is questioned for the murder of his partner in crime, detectives learn the truth behind the rise of New York's underground tobacco game and the deceit among its biggest players..."
