Amanda Seyfried Doing "Lovelace"

Although her fans may find it a bit hard to swallow, actress Amanda Seyfried ("Red Riding Hood"), will star as adult film actress Linda Lovelace, in the upcoming bio-pic "Lovelace".

Lovelace starred in the 1972 X-rated feature "Deep Thoat", before becoming an anti-pornography advocate.

Producers are Avi Lerner, Heidi Jo Markel and Laura Rister.

Production will start January 2012.

In other "Linda Lovelace" news, writer/director Matthew Wilder continues developing his "Ordeal" feature project, based on Lovelace's autobiography, with Malin Akerman ("Watchmen") attached to star.
