Sneak Peek the new poster supporting the upcoming science fiction drama, "Melancholia", written and directed by Lars Von Trier, starring Kirsten Dunst, Charlotte Gainsbourg and Kiefer Sutherland :
"...before the end of the world, 'Justine' (Dunst) and 'Michael' (Alexander Skarsgård) are celebrating their marriage at a sumptuous party in the home of her sister 'Claire' (Gainsbourg) and brother-in-law 'John' (Sutherland). Despite Claire’s best efforts the wedding is a fiasco, with family tensions mounting and relationships fraying.
"Meanwhile, a planet called 'Melancholia' is heading directly on a collision towards Earth..."
Trier said the purpose of his film is to dramatize how a depressive person reacts more calmly than others in a situation of high stress.
Dunst received the 2011 Cannes Film Festival's 'Best Actress' Award for her performance.
