Majesco Plays With Hasbro's "Twister"

Hasbro's "Twister", the mat-based game that has contorted co-ed players into pretzels for the last 45 years, has partnered with video game publisher Majesco Entertainment Co, for a digital "Twister".

The new game will be available November 1, 2011.

In place of Twister's trademark mat and spinner will be the motion sensor of Microsoft's Kinect.

"This is using your full body as a game piece," said Majesco's chief marketing officer, Christina Glorioso.

The video game will offer 16 styles of play including the 'party play' mode popular in the 1960's, with up to eight people able to play at once.
