"Sons Of Anarchy": Ride Hard, Live Free

"Sons of Anarchy", from creator Kurt Sutter ("The Shield") following the lives of a close-knit California-based 'outlaw' motorcycle club is currently prepping for a 4th season to air Fall 2011 on FX.

The series stars UK actor Charlie Hunnam ("Nicholas Nickleby") as 'Jackson "Jax" Teller', the Vice President of the club who begins questioning the club and himself, Ron Perlman ("Hellboy") as 'Clarence "Clay" Morrow', President of the Club and Katey Sagal in a Golden Globe winning performance as 'Gemma Teller Morrow', the wife of Clay and mother to Jax.

The third season of the series attracted an average of 4.9 million viewers per week, making it FX's highest rated series ever, surpassing FX's other hits "The Shield", "Nip/Tuck" and "Rescue Me" :

"...'Sons of Anarchy' is the story of the 'Teller-Morrow' family of 'Charming', California, as well as the other members of 'Sons of Anarchy Motorcycle Club, Redwood Original' ('SAMCRO'), their families, various Charming townspeople, and the various rivals and associates who undermine or support SAMCRO's legal and illegal enterprises..."

Creator Sutter is the series' showrunner, most prolific writer, appears as an actor on the show and is a regular episodic director, for the father-son, executive producing team of Art and John Linson.
