Swedish actress Noomi Rapace ("The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo"), currently filming the "Alien" prequel "Prometheus" for director Ridley Scott ("Gladiator"), will next play 1960's era folk singer, actress, 'Anita Lindblom' in a new bio-pic, directed by Catherine Hardwicke ("Red Riding Hood").
Based on a screenplay by Peter Birro, the feature will focus on Lindblom’s stormy marriage to boxer 'Bo Högberg', who will be played in the film by Rapace’s ex-husband, actor Ola Rapace.
The Lindblom bio-pic, " will throw us back into Swedish celebrity culture of the 1960's, where the name is more important than the person," said Hardwicke, who will start prepping for the film, Fall 2011.
