The song is the fifth single off the singer’s third studio album "Teenage Dream", released in North America, August 24, 2010, debuting at number one on the 'Billboard 200', selling 192,000 copies in its first week.
"Teenage Dream" has spawned four singles, including "California Gurls" (featuring Snoop Dogg), "Teenage Dream", "Firework" and "E.T." (featuring Kanye West). Each single peaked at number one on the 'Billboard Hot 100'.
