Conspiracy Plugs Into "Emily The Strange: Strangerous"

According to Big Game Hunter, Conspiracy Entertainment, a developer, publisher and marketer of interactive entertainment software in North America and Western Europe, reports it will be publishing/marketing "Emily the Strange: Strangerous" for Nintendo DS in North America.

"'Emily the Strange' has become a phenomenon all around the world and we are excited to publish this title for her fans," said Sirus Ahmadi, CEO, Conspiracy Entertainment. "We look forward to working with Emily’s creator Rob Reger and his creative team..."

The character first appeared on a sticker distributed at concerts, record stores and skate shops to promote Cosmic Debris, the clothing line founded by artist/skateboarder Reger, racecar driver Matt Reed and Nathan Carrico, who designed 'Emily' in 1991 for Santa Cruz Skateboards, Santa Cruz, California.

"...Share in Emily’s adventure of finding and rescuing her cats that have been cat-napped. The player will be able to switch between the world of strange and several parallel universes/dream worlds, as one by one, Emily rescues her cats and draws on their special abilities to advance in the game..."

An "Emily the Strange" feature film has been optioned by producer Mike Richardson of Dark Horse Entertainment, currently in active development with Universal Pictures, starring actress Chloë Moretz ("Kick-Ass") as 'Emily'.
