"The Weird World of Eerie Publications", published by Feral House (2010) introduces new readers to Eerie Publications' horror comic magazines, published between 1965 and 1975, featuring 'ultra-gory' covers.
The book also introduces publisher Myron Fass, and editor Carl Burgos (creator of "The Human Torch" in 1939) who hired comic art greats and unknowns to plagiarize pre-Code comic book art of the 1950's.
Fass, publisher of Eerie Publications and undisputed "King of the One-Shots", printed thousands of magazines from the 1950s to the 1990's on every subject imaginable.
Fass' unorthodox management style horrified his staff, while his magazines both offended and influenced millions.
