Actress Elizabeth Hurley ("Austin Powers") has been cast as a guest-starring villain in producer/writer David E. Kelley's upcoming TV reboot pilot of DC Comics "Wonder Woman".
"Thrilled to be doing the NBC pilot 'Wonder Woman'', said Hurley on her Twitter feed. "I’ll be playing the evil villain. Can't wait."
In the pilot, Hurley’s character 'Veronica Cale' runs a pharmaceutical company, developing a drug to make people 'stronger'. When she plans an army of super-strong thugs, 'Wonder Woman' gets involved.
