"The Adventures Of Tintin: Secret Of The Unicorn" : December 23, 2011
Sneak Peek images supporting director Steven Spielberg's "The Adventures Of Tintin: Secret Of The Unicorn", the upcoming $135 million motion capture 3D feature, based on "The Adventures of Tintin" comic books created by Belgian artist Georges 'Hergé' Remi.
The "Unicorn" cast includes Jamie Bell, Andy Serkis, Simon Pegg, Nick Frost and Daniel Craig.
The new film, produced by Spielberg, Peter Jackson, and Kathleen Kennedy, is written by Steven Moffat, Edgar Wright and Joe Cornish, based on Hergé's "The Crab with the Golden Claws", "The Secret of the Unicorn" and "Red Rackham's Treasure".
Producer Jackson, whose company Weta Digital is providing the computer animation, intends to direct the "Unicorn" sequel "Prisoners Of The Sun".
"Unicorn" is the first Spielberg-directed feature to be shot digitally.
From The Kennedy/Marshall Company, WingNut Films, Amblin Entertainment and DreamWorks Pictures, "The Adventures Of Tintin: Secret Of The Unicorn" will be distributed by Paramount in North America, December 23, 2011.
