Actresses Jessica Biel ("The A-Team") and Uma Thurman ("Kill Bill"), will join Gerard Butler ("300") in the upcoming soccer comedy "Playing The Field", to be directed by Gabriele Muccino ("The Pursuit Of Happyness").Currently in pre-production, premise of the film follows a 'troubled' father (Butler) who makes up for lost time by coaching his son’s soccer team, but finds that a local soccer mom (Thurman) is interested in more than the game.
Biel will play Butler’s ex-wife.
