Produced by Timur Bekmambetov and Michael Wolkoff, "Apollo 18" will be directed by Gonzalo Lopez-Gallego from a screenplay by Brian Miller.

To be lensed 'documentary style', the new film "...unearths lost footage from Apollo 18’s undocumented and covert mission to the moon, revealing disturbing new evidence of other life forms..."

The 'Apollo 18' moon mission was originally planned July 1969 to land in the moon's 'Schroter's Valley', but NASA 'cancelled' the mission because of congressional cuts.

"Apollo 18" starts filming December 2010.
