Following its debut September 6, the Cartoon Network has ordered additional episodes of the animated sketch-comedy TV series "Mad", based on the popular magazine.
Produced by Warner Bros. Animation and executive producer Sam Register ("Batman: The Brave and the Bold"), the series features short animated vignettes about current television shows, films, games and other aspects of popular culture.
Producing are Kevin Shinick ("Robot Chicken") and Mark Marek ("KaBlam!").
