Warner Home Video's latest DC Universe Original Animated Movie, following "Justice League: Crisis On Two Earths" is "Batman: Under The Red Hood", from a screenplay by Judd Winick, writer of the original DC Comics stories, featured in "Batman" issues #625 to #641.
The new film is directed by Brandon Vietti.
Voice cast includes Canadian actor Bruce Greenwood as 'Batman', Jensen Ackles as 'Red Hood', John DiMaggio as the 'Joker', Jason Isaacs as 'Ra's Al Ghul' and Neil Patrick Harris as 'Nightwing'.
Premise of Winick's stories, follow 'Jason Todd', the former 'Robin' killed by the 'Joker' in " Death in the Family", now resurrected as the 'Red Hood', confronting those he feels have wronged him.Todd kidnaps the Joker, then assumes control over criminal gangs in 'Gotham City'.
