The CW's "The Vampire Diaries", available soon from Warner Home Video contains the Complete Season 1 episodes, from Kevin Williamson, based on "The Vampire Diaries" book series by author L. J. Smith:
The TV series follows 'Elena Gilbert' (Nina Dobrev), who falls in love with vampire 'Stefan Salvatore' (Paul Wesley) and his vampire brother 'Damon Salvatore'.
The series also focuses on the lives of Elena's friends and other inhabitants of the fictional town of 'Mystic Falls', Virginia.
When the supernatural, teen drama premiered on The CW Television Network September 10, 2009, it attracted the largest audience of any series since the network began in 2006 and was subsequently given a full, 22-episode first season order, October 21, 2009.
February 16, 2010, The CW announced it would renew the series for a second season...
