RIP Frank Frazetta

Fantasy artist supreme Frank Frazetta has died in a Fort Myers, Florida, hospital. He was 82.


Manager Rob Pistella said Frazetta died May 10, a day after suffering a stroke.


He said Frazetta had been out to dinner with his daughters before falling ill.


Frazetta is renowned for his sci-fi and fantasy art.


Among numerous works in all illustrated media, Frazetta created paintings featured on covers for Warren Magazines "Creepy" and "Eerie", plus pocket book covers for "Conan", "Tarzan" and "John Carter Of Mars".
