Warner Bros. has picked up "Heist Society," the young adult thriller novel by author Ally Carter. Writer Shauna "Whip It!" Cross will adapt the book for producers Denise "Sisterhood Of The Traveling Pants" Di Novi and Di Novi Pictures' Alison Greenspan."Heist Society", the sixth novel by Carter will be released February 9, 2010. The book is her fourth novel for young adults and first young-adult novel outside of her New York Times bestselling "Gallagher Girls" series.
Premise of the novel follows 'Katarina Bishop', groomed for a life of 'thieving' for as long as she can remember.
Warners plans to age the "Heist Society" characters from their teens to their twenties...
