Sneak Peek the direct-to-DVD animated film “Thor: Tales of Asgard”, scheduled to be released next year, coinciding with the release of Marvel Studios' live action "Thor" feature, May 6th, 2011.
"Thor: Tales Of Asgard" will serve as a prequel to the film, revealing the origins of Norse god 'Thor' and his half-brother 'Loki' growing up in 'Asgard', realm of the Norse gods.
Marvel will also produce an "Avengers" animated prequel, to be released direct-to-DVD, timed to the release of the "Avengers" live-action feature film, May 4th, 2012, from Marvel Animation and Film Roman.
