Actress Natalie Portman will reportedly produce and star in the 'stoner' comedy "Best Buds", from a screenplay by actress Jamie Denbo.Premise follows “...two best female friends who take a road trip to their friend’s wedding in order to save her by bringing her weed.”
The screenplay is said to be in a similar vein as the comedies "Harold & Kumar" and "Half Baked".
Still no word on the ultimate stoner, stop-motion, animated movie adaptation of creator Gilbert Shelton's "The Fabulous Furry Freak Brothers" comic strip, titled "Grass Roots".
