Some rare, unseeen photos of 25-year old Marilyn Monroe have surfaced, taken by LIFE photographer Loomis Dean. Monroe was depicted winning a 'Henrietta' award, one of the first of her career, as 'Best Young Box Office Personality' given by the Foreign Press Association of Hollywood, forerunner of the Golden Globes.
Dean shot his photographs @ Club Del Mar in Santa Monica, Calif, January 1952.
Monroe appeared in the 1952 feature "As Young as You Feel".
