"Twilight: The Graphic Novel" (Volume 1), is a new manga spin on author Stephenie Meyer's "The Twilight Saga", to be published in a 2-volume, hardcover set.
Volume 1 will be available March 16, in a first edition print run of 350,000 copies, from Yen Press, the graphic novel imprint of Hachette Book Group. Illustrations are by Korean artist Young Kimis, with "Twilight" author Meyer involved in the process as much as possible.
"I’ve enjoyed working on this new interpretation of 'Twilight'," said Meyer.
"Young has done an incredible job transforming the words that I have written into beautiful images. The characters and settings are very close to what I was imagining while writing the series."
Meyer's "Twilight Saga" translation rights have been sold in 50 countries with 85 million copies sold worldwide....
