Actress Sharon "Basic Instinct" Stone will guest star on four episodes of NBC's TV series "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit", playing a former police woman turned special prosecutor of 'sex crimes'.Stone won an Emmy Award in 2004 for a guest spot on the TV series "The Practice" and a Golden Globe for her work in Martin Scorsese's 1995 feature "Casino". She also appeared in "Total Recall".
"It is obviously a thrill and a delight to have a star of Sharon's wattage and importance joining 'SVU'," said "Law & Order" creator Dick Wolf.
