The 'Catholic League' has voiced opposition to the newest 'PETA' ('People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals') ad campaign, featuring model Joanna Krupa as an 'angel', holding a strategically placed crucifix, with the headline "Be an Angel for Animals. Always Adopt. Never Buy".
In another ad, Krupa holds her dog in one hand and a rosary in the other.
"I am shocked that the Catholic League is speaking out against my PETA ads," said Krupa.
"I'm doing what the Catholic Church should be doing, working to stop senseless suffering of animals, the most defenseless of god's creation."
