"The Loss of a Teardrop Diamond" is a film by director Jodie Markel, based on a newly-discovered screenplay by author Tennessee Williams, starring Bryce Dallas Howard as 'Fisher Willow'.
The film tells the story of Willow who falls in love with 'Jimmy' (Chris Evans), son of an alcoholic father and 'insane' mother.
Willow tries to pass Jimmy off as a wealthy suitor to appease her family, including her Aunt (Ann-Margret), who controls their fortune and would feel Jimmy is unsuitable based on his family's background.
