Record-breaking box office records from “Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen” and "Star Trek" have now vaulted Paramount Pictures Corporation past the $1 billion mark in 2009 domestic box office revenue.
Based on figures through July 7th, “Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen” grossed $305.5 million domestic in 14 days and “Star Trek” grossed $250.3 million.
"These tentpoles performed wonderfully for us this year," said Grey, "and we are excited for what they mean for our business in the years ahead..."
