Warner Bros. and Leonardo DiCaprio's Appian Way are developing a new "Twilight Zone" movie, hiring Rand Ravich to write a screenplay based on the TV series, combining fantasy, science-fiction and horror elements.
Ravich previously directed the feature "The Astronaut's Wife" and executive produced "Confessions of a Dangerous Mind."
Created by writer Rod Serling, the original "Twilight Zone" TV series debuted in 1959 on CBS, running for five seasons on CBS, with Serling writing more than half of 156 episodes.
In 1983, Warners released "Twilight Zone: The Movie," with Steven Spielberg and John Landis producing/directing segments.
