"Jonah Hex" is the upcoming 'weird' Western film based on the DC Comics character of the same name.
Under Warner Bros., the film is directed by Jimmy Hayward and stars actor Josh Brolin as the scarred bounty hunter 'Hex', with Megan Fox as his love interest.Filming began in Louisiana April 2009, in New Orleans, shooting near the French Market May 31, 2009.
First appearing in DC Comics' "All-Star Western" #10 (Feb-Mar 1972), the character was created by John Albano and Tony DeZuniga as an 'anti-hero' and former officer for the Confederacy during the American Civil War, fighting at Gettysburg.
