A screenplay to adapt the bubblegum comic strip character 'Bazooka Joe' into a feature film is being developed by writer Mark Hammer.
Since the 1950's, "Bazooka" bubble gum has included inner-wrapper comic strips starring 'Bazooka Joe & Company' including 'Pesty', 'Mort', 'Toughie', 'HungryHerman', 'Jane', 'Zena' and the dog 'Walkie Talkie'....
