World War II-era singer Dame Vera Lynn, the voice behind "The White Cliffs of Dover", will be giving a 'full account' of her life in a new autobiography.

Lynn became an inspirational sweetheart to British soldiers with her uplifting songs during WW II.

The song "We'll Meet Again" was used by director Stanley Kubrick at the end of his 1964 feature "Dr. Strangelove.

"People have been hearing about me for many years," said Lynn. "But the publishers think it is a story that will be surprising".

"Some Sunny Day" will coincide with the 70th anniversary of the start of the war in 1939, with plans to adapt Lynn's memoirs into a feature film...
