Sneak Peek has learned that Tokyo, Japan-based Tomy Co. and US comic book publisher Marvel Entertainment Inc. will form a partnership selling toys in each other's markets as well as producing animated works featuring characters from both companies.
The news comes after Tomy announced earlier this month, it was pulling the plug on the North American market and distribution of the 'i-Sobot', Dustbot' and 'AeroSpider'.
In March, Tomy USA will focus on selling game software only, reducing its work force in Thailand by 40% .
The Marvel team-up will initially be for Tomy markets in Europe and Japan...
