"Lipstick Jungle" actress Lindsay Price said that the TV comedy-drama series is being picked up to play on another network, other than NBC.

"Or they're talking about maybe doing what they did with "Friday Night Lights", she said, "airing over DirecTV and then later on NBC".

"Lipstick Jungle" was created by DeAnn Heline and Eileen Heisler for NBC Universal Television, based on the best-selling novel by author Candace "Sex And The City" Bushnell, who was executive producer of the series with writer Oliver Goldstick. The pilot episode was directed by Gary Winick.

Premise followed three 'high-powered' friends as they weather the ups and downs of lives lived at 'the top of their game'. 'Nico', editor-in-chief of a fashion magazine, has her eye on becoming a CEO, movie executive 'Wendy' does everything she can to balance her career with family and designer 'Victory' just wants to find Mr. Right.

"...These three modern New York women support one another through the triumphs and tears that are all part of making it big in The Big Apple..."
