Warners "The Dark Knight" has become the fourth film to take in more than $1 billion in worldwide box office, with the combined domestic, international gross totaling $1,001,082,160 to date, or $533 million domestic, $567 million overseas.
Boost is attributed to Warners re-releasing the latest 'Batman' movie in IMAX theatres Jan. 23, the day after the film received eight Oscar nominations.
