UK production company Red Sparrow has announced "Vivid" as its first project, budgeted at $1.2 million.The 'psychological horror' film, set in the English countryside, stars actors Ricci "Rise of The Footsoldier" Harnett and Charisma "Buffy The Vampire Slayer" Carpenter.
Justin Hawkins of 'The Darkness' band will also star in the Reg Traviss-directed feature, produced by Red Sparrow's Patrick "Long, Live Long" Fischer.
Premise follows a New York novelist (Carpenter) who relocates to rural England, only to be rejected by the locals and haunted by horrific visions.
The film will shoot in both London and Somerset.
