Writer Tom Wheeler has been signed to script the DreamWorks Animation "Shrek" spinoff "Puss in Boots", as a stand-alone feature.
The pussycat/swordsman character, debuting in "Shrek 2", will again be voiced by actor Antonio Banderas.
