Roger Moore: "My Word Is My Bond"...

English actor Sir Roger Moore, has an upcoming autobiography due for release titled "My Word Is My Bond", with quick interest from the major studios, to adapt his life story into a feature film.

Moore is best known for portraying British action heroes 'Simon Templar' from the UK TV series "The Saint" 1962 to 1969 and 'James Bond' in seven films from 1973 to 1985. The polished Moore was also the personal choice of Bond author Ian Fleming to play '007', who disliked the rough edge of Scottish actor Sean Connery.

Moore is also noted as the oldest actor to play Bond, announcing his retirement from the part at the age of 58.

Aside from actor Timothy Dalton, who also portrayed Bond, Moore is the only other 007 actor that had a dramatic education at RADA, the prestigious London drama college...
